Sales Key Account Manager – Utilities & Energy sector

Job description:

the purpose of this role is to lead and continue the growth of the SELTA Infrastructure Division of DigitalPlatforms group (specifically Energy Automation & Transport, Unified Communications) in North Africa and South East Asia. The Sales KAM is responsible for leading the Primary/Channel Sales in continuing to establish and cultivate C-level customer relations in some countries through successful implementation of sales business plan.

He/She is responsible to ensure booking and margin objectives, to identify market growth opportunities through Utilities, Renewable and Industry. The role also has the responsibility to contribute to the penetration in new markets, primarily in global Renewable & Storage sector by helping to develop and facilitate cross business unit and solution selling in line with DigitalPlatforms strategic direction.

  • Coordinate with Sales Director and BU Marketing team and local organization needs to drive Energy Automation & Transport marketing campaigns to increase market penetration
  • Close contracts for the design and delivery of Control, Protection and PLC Transmission systems
  • Negotiate commercial business terms and contracts
  • Maintain accurate data and forecasts within SalesForce
  • Drive New Product Development adoption
  • Support the Pre-sales tender team, during the tender ensuring that the staff is operating according to the bid requirements


  • Ability to develop joint strategic sales plans for increased revenue and market share in T&D domain
  • Studies: Technical Degree preferably in engineering or electric, Business Degree, equivalent experience, or degree.
  • 5 years in Sales position
  • Experience with a process-oriented sales methodology
  • Professional written and spoken French and English is mandatory
  • Availability to travel for 40% of the time and to operate on international markets
